heh i say if they want to use them for military, they should make them at about a 15x larger scale like those at walker things in star wars, throw some automated turrets and inferred on them, and then send them to Irak. the sit back, relax and watch irak from the mounted cams on the machines bellies. ...its what i would do anyway. muhaha. :]

Not very stealthy.

No, it's a fatal design flaw that reveals it's location to the enemy. Audible sound is easily dampened far beyond that. They need to suck up the extra weight and kevlar wrap that generator with ceramic pellet pack and provide a thermal solution for the generator to not overheat. Great machine though.

it's an embedded power generator, when they try the robot indoor there's no sound since it is powered by cables

I agree, and even then it may not even stand a chance considering the fact that weaponry is getting more and more lethal each day and it could easily be knocked down by something more powerful than just a kick. But still, just knowing that these things are roaming around already A) Scares the crap out of me and B) Who knows what else they have up their sleeve -shudders- KAB
