why dont they do the same as what happened with Dr Who, leave it for a decade and a half at least then you will have a new generation eager to watch any new episodes or series you make, it worked for Dr Who (the worlds longest running sci-fi show ever i mean hell 27 series before it was cancelled) maybe it can even ressurect Trek from the pit they have tossed it into (used to love it, now very wary)

i don't agree with no more series, bacause the show will always grow, the values of it can always be understood, however i also agree that they should have left the original series alone, there was one kirk one spock one bones and one scotty, the feeling they put into the characters cannot be copied, what are they going to do then, re-release the motion picture through to t.u.c.? it'll always be in the shadow of the origianl series

Enterprise wasn't "canon enough". ( they actually went outside canon a few times), But we need more TREK series.
